NOTIFICATION
In modification of Notification of 3-38/05-PG dated 16th September, 2005 and subsequent modification regarding designating Central public information Officers and Appellate Authorities of the Department of Post for the field units. It is hereby notified that ADM (PLI) is nominated as CPIO and DPS (HQ) o/o CPMG Karnataka Circle remains to be the appellate authority. The nominated officers would be authorized to issue final reply to information seekers pertaining to their field as Central public information officers.
All Assistance is necessary for discharging the duties of the CPIOs shall be made available by other officers as per Section 5(4) and 5(5) of the Right to Information Act 2005.
