26th BIENNIAL CONFERENCE OF FNPO NADIA SOUTH DIVISION

26th Biennial conference of FNPO Nadia South Division.



The 26th Biennial conference of FNPO Nadia South Division jointly hoisted by National Association of Postal Employees Group-C, Postmen MTS Group-C and GDS at the D.L. Roy Institute (formerly Harve)  at Ranaghat on 9th of February 2014 with a bang.
The Conference opened up with the hoisting of National Flag by Sri Montu Roy, President NUGDS, Nadia South Division and later the hoisting of FNPO flag by Sri Apurba Chakraborty, President NAPE Group-C, followed by the respect and garlanding of the Brevard.
The delegate session of NUPE Postmen MTS Group-C started at 10:00 A.M sharp in the august presence of circle executive members, namely Sri B.M. Ghosh and others. Divisional Secretary of NUPE Postmen MTS Group-C Sri Rabindra Nath Biswas read the secretarial report and the accounts of the previous tenure, which was unanimously passed by the delegates. Later the new Executive body for the next two years were chosen.
The delegate session of National Association Group C and National Union of Postal Employees:GDS were followed shortly. Sri Apurba Chakraborty, President NAPE Group-C presided over this session. Sri Ashok Kumar Roy, Secretary NAPE Group-C read the Secretarial report and Sri Samir Kumar Ghosh, Treasurer NAPE Group-C successfully passed the accounts of the previous tenure. Finally Sri Swapan Ghosh Secretary NUGDS passed his secretarial report and accounts of the previous tenure, followed by choosing of the Executive body and Divisional Working Committee members of the respective wings.

The dais was illuminated with the august presence of Sri Madhab Paul, Assistant Treasurer NAPE Group-C, West Bengal Circle, Sri Somnath Majumder Assistant Secretary NAPE Group-C, West Bengal Circle, Sri Tapan Dutta, Circle Secretary NUGDS, West Bengal Circle., Smt Rama Dey, Local Councillor, Ranaghat Municipality, Sri Ujjal Dey, Representative from Ranaghat RMS. And not to forget Sri Bani Kumar Roy Sabhdiapity Nadia Zela Parishad and Sri Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, MLA and Chairman Ranaghat Municipality whose presence made the Conference a grand success. From the Divisional administration Sri Golder, ASPOS Ranaghat East Sub-division was present to add his valuable inpust regarding the Vision of India Post in the coming years and his pleasure in the working culture of the members of this Union.
The enthusiasm amongst members was noteworthy as this a place of mixing. Employees from all over the Nadia South Division assembled and shared common interests as well as various opinions. There was arrangement for breakfast and lunch.

At the end of open session, the conference was officially declared as over with a small token of remembrance to all the members.
 Almost everyone moved away with a laden heart as all the decorations, flags, festoons, banners had to be removed and wait again until the next conference.
